This painting was inspired by work I was very fortunate to view in Berlin, Germany. My goal was to incorporate fashion illustration with an organic form of painting. I think the layers of detail make for a more interesting composition.

Vector Illustrations for Sublimation Printing on Wool
Spring 2013 new colors and graphics from Chloë Angus Spirit Wrap Collection. The vector illustrations I create are based on line drawings by Haida Artist Clarence Mills. My work also includes fine tuning the color in Adobe Illustrator so that the result is what the fashion designer wants. Sublimation printing onto color wool fabric requires much testing and patience.

Digital Printer’s proof is a success given the adjustment in cyan and increase in royal blue tones. These clients had a pretty good idea of what they wanted from the beginning and good communication was easy. My home printer proof looks too high in cyan, but worth showing. Initially I was hired to design the Encompass Home Solutions logo to be used throughout branding. I’m happy with how the logo looks on the cover. My clients are excited to introduce this service and will have a shiny, slick brochure to help with the pitch. More on this gig later.
